Former police chief constable and counter-terrorism lead John Parkinson OBE is President of Secured Communications and leads the company’s operations in the UK and Europe.

John served with the Police for over 33 years and led one of the largest forces in the UK. He also performed the role of UK Senior National Coordinator for Counter Terrorism, in which he was based at London’s New Scotland Yard.

Because of his career experiences, John knows first-hand of the need for trusted, secure communications which offer the highest levels of encryption to give the user confidence against hackers. Along with colleagues in the US and globally, John was instrumental in the development of Mercury.
